The Garrett Russell Experience: Another Time, Another Place is an original story and video series developed by The House and has premiered on Teton Gravity Reasearch’s Tetongravity.com. The GRE  will explore the skiing, style, and artistic virtue of House Rider Garrett “GFunk” Russell. Captured in San Carlos de Bariloche, episode 1 explores the vision of one of skiing’s true originals. Another Time, Another Place will follow G-Funk in 4 different episodes featuring the terrain of the Argentine Andes, forests of Japan,and the expansive American canvas.

Demo Days at Wild Mountain

logo_originalSaturday, November 23, 2013— I was met with clear, sunny skies and frigid temperatures upon awakening. Yet, my heart was warm and swirling with anticipation. Demo Days at Wild Mountain had finally come. Coffee in travel mug, breakfast pastry in hand; I threw my pack of gear and my boots into the car and sped off to click into the skis I had been longing to shred.

Wild Mountain Ski Resort is about 45 minutes northeast of the Twin Cities. Snowmaking was in full effect as we pulled into the parking lot. Fan guns pumped huge  plumes and HKDs sprinkled the frosty white from the nose of their towers; Wild Mountain was wisely taking advantage of the single digit temperatures. Vendor tents were up and 2014 skis and snowboards were displayed like cakes in a bakery window. A quick change and boot up; it was time to ride.

LJ Strenio 2012 Season + Near Career Ending Injury

Line team riding LJ Strenio 2012 winter season was on track to be the greatest season of his life. Unfortunately while in filming in Finland with  Level 1 he shattered his kneecap (as shown at the 4:00 min marker), which almost took him out of the game for good. Through rehab and pure determination  LJ is known for is back at it. Recently taking 1st place in the 2013 (Craig Coker’s ) WAR OF RAILS!
