Film & Edit: Tom Hannam
Well another summer season has come and gone at the Windells Skate and Snow Camp. It’s amazing the level of progression, creativity and the insane riding that comes out of there every summer. Every time there is a new edit from Windell’s your jaw is on the floor almost the entire video and the final session is no exception. Session seven features iPath’s Team Takeover Narly by Nature skate competition as well as the premiere of Transworld Snowboarding’s new movie “NATION”. There is also a great riding tip throwback from Coach Reed back in 2008 on some, shall we say “time management techniques” while shredding. So sit back and prepare to have your mind blown.
Jake Brown is now the first person to lands an ollie 720 on the mega ramp during the Skate – Big Air at the 2013 X- Games in Brazil. It kind of makes you wonder if someone is making some new high tech Sticky Icky Ooey Gooey Grip Tape!
The Buffalo Bill Downhill Race (aka Buffalo Bill Downhill Blood Spill) is held in Golden, Colorado. This year thing got a little interesting. As Skateboarding Ryan Vitale tackled a deer. Besides for a few scraps and bruises Ryan and the deer where both unharmed. In closing that is why you should always wear protection. Make sure to checkout out our section Longboards, Skateboard Helmets and Skateboards Pads.
Cleptomanicx produced a Stopmotion Film “Quadratmeterboy” for the Strange-O-Rama Videocontest, hosted by Titus. After one month of voting Quadratmeterboy finished 2nd. Make sure to check out the Making of Quadratmeterboy, because its pretty amazing what these guys had to do to create this short film.
