With the temps dipping like they have been it was only a matter of time until one of our Minnesota resorts stepped up to the plate and cranked up the lifts to the mid-westerners.
Not surprisingly Wild Mountain got the jump on the season for the 35th year in a row when they opened Friday, October 29th. Tickets are only $10 bucks.
Hot on Wild Mountains tail was Trollhaugen in Wisconsin who opened on Saturday. Both resorts plan on staying open on the weekends and closing during mid-week but it’s probably a good idea to call ahead to be sure they are open.

Getting gnarly at Trollhaugen. Anybody out there in internet land get to shred yet?
I think this speaks for itself! Go Twins!!
So I was at the local watering hole last night watching out local Minnesota Twins battle it out with the Tigers. Classic Twins…. we are up, then we are down…. tie game… 14 innings and Crede hits a grand slam to win?! a Grand slam in the 14th? Where was that in the 5th or 6th? anyways, way to go Twins!! Take it to the Series!!!
