Ian McIntosh’s Season Edit

Freeskier Battles Injury to Hammer a Huge Season

Ian McIntosh is one of today’s most talented Big Mountain Freeskiers. He is fast, big, and technical. In 2011, McIntosh suffered a season ending injury while filming with Teton Gravity Research in Alaska. Due to the extent of the trauma to his femur, the 2012 season was also lost. After persistent physical therapy, McIntosh came back to slay the dragon on mountains with sheer and craggy faces, only to suffer yet another injury. This time suffering a broken ankle, the Freeskier known for his strength and burliness seemed to be breaking down. Yet like the phoenix rises from the ash, McIntosh resurrected his 2013/2014 Ski Season and laid down some of the biggest lines of his life. His technicality and extreme athleticism showcased in these lines is matched in his persistence, determination, and resilience.

The Pursuit of Awesome

Awesome is as Awesome Does

This compilation of clips is a thread of awesomeness that is truly inspiring. Set to dubstep, house, trance, techno, pop music; the high paced bass driven tunes reverberate in the ear as the action reverberates in the heart. What is most poetic and the common theme among the shots of athletic feats is the “stoke.” Each athlete, mouth agape, smile touching behind the ears, laughing, is the picture of happiness. The most exciting action caught in this compilation is the collective joy we get out of pursuing our passions. Have fun, push it, do what you love, lean in: BE AWESOME! Jn6zMQl

This entire clip was shot with GoPro!

Tame The Dragon

GoPro Adventure Series

Chris Davenport, Lynsey Dyer, Travis Rice, and John Jackson crush the Andes Mountains in this new edit from GoPro‘s Adventure Series. The entire clip is shot with GoPro equipment and showcases some brand new and stellar mounting positions. It is an absolutely incredible edit that not only showcases the talent of these world renowned Action Sports Superstars but highlights the love that unites them no matter their discipline. There is not a “rivalry” between sculptors and painters. Why then do we feed a conflict between artists who speak through snow. The scenery is breath taking, the skiing is awesome, the snowboarding is phenomenal, the stoke is universal.
