Kaitlyn Farrington has been owning the Dew Tour this season and when she took first in the halfpipe at the last stop in West Dover, Vermont she also earned herself the Dew Cup. At the very first Dew stop in Breckenridge Kaitlyn landed in 6th place and at the Snowbasin stop she climbed the ranks to 2nd. Now she has topped the list and proved to be the best over all. Congratulations Kaitlyn!

Brennen Swanson gets Second in Dew Tour Halfpipe

westdover

The Dew Tour for 09/10 is said and done, but the last stop in West Dover, Vermont was quite the spectacle. The House team rider, Brennen Swanson, threw all his cards in as he put down a run that would land him a second place on the podium. Not only was Brennen the only one that threw double corks at West Dover he threw two in his run that were clean as they could be. Awesome job Brennen, Congratulations!

Vancouver Olympics: Big Events In February

There are a couple big things going on in February, one especially rather large and important event, and I thought I would just put a couple schedules out there for you. Read More

Brennen Swanson is in the news

Our boy Brennen sent us a little news just to let us know what he is up to, and he is livin the dream. He was over in South Dakota where he did a little spot on the Morning Show about him going to put on a show at FunSki, which raises money for abused women and children. After that he was a guest on a few different radio stations for their morning shows. He held a press conference at Great Bear Resort and he has been signing autographs, making several other appearances, taking pictures and doing interviews all over the place. Brennen says its been an amazing experience and he is really stoked about this exposure for himself and his sponsors. It’s always good to hear from you Brennen, good luck at the last Dew Tour stop!

The House Crew Stomped the Dew Tour

Kaitlyn2

Kaitlyn Farrington and Brennen Swanson killed it at the Snow Basin Dew Tour stop in Halfpipe. Kaitlyn rode her way onto the podium taking 2nd and Brennen topped the list taking home 5th. It gets even more impressive when you look at the list of heavy hitters they had to beat out to get to the top. Congrats Brennen and Kaitlyn, that’s so sick! Read More

Results of Breckenridge Dew Tour

Breckenridge Dew Tour 2009 is all over. They had perfect weather for the pipe finals and they would have had great conditions for the slopestyle but it was held later in the afternoon and the light wasn’t really that great. If you want to see the full results of the qualifiers and what not, you can check it out here. Probably the biggest surprise of the comp. was 16 year old Tyler Flanagan taking the cake in slopestyle and beating out heavy hitter riders that have been his inspiration to ride.

Flow to Pro

snowboard_11238

If you’re 21 or younger it’s your turn to see if you got what it takes. Gatorade is bringing Free Flow to you. So you really don’t have any excuses to miss out on this one. They have 10 stops scheduled all over the U.S. for freeskiers and snowboarders to compete in slopestyle and superpipe. These stops include:

Jan 9th – Big Boulder Ski Area, Lake Harmony, Pennsylvania (slopestyle only)
Jan 9th-10th – Vail Ski Resort, Vail, Colorado (slopestyle & pipe)
Jan 16th-17th – Tyrol Basin Ski and Snowboard Area, Mount Horeb, Wisconsin (slopestyle & pipe)
Jan 17th – Mountain High Resort, Wrightwood, California (slopestyle only)
Jan 23rd-24th – Killington Resort, Killington, Vermont (slopestyle & pipe)
Jan 23rd-24th – Keystone Resort, Keystone, Colorado (slopestyle & pipe)
Jan 23rd-24th – Bear Mountain Resort, Big Bear Lake, California (slopestyle & pipe)
Jan 30th – Brighton Resort, Brighton, Utah (slopestyle only)
Jan 30th-31st – Loon Mountain Resort, Lincoln, New Hampshire (slopestyle & pipe)
Jan 30th-31st – Mammoth Mountain Ski Area, Mammoth Lakes, California (slopestyle & pipe)

Feb 5th-7th, Mount Snow Resort, West Dover, Vermont (slopestyle & pipe). Will be held in conjunction with the Dew Tour’s Toyota Championship

This competition is meant to be used as a stepping stone for amateur riders to go pro. And no joke, they are truly throwing that opportunity at the winners. Each stop will have three and six winners. Those winners will then be flown (compliments of Gatorade) to the Free Flow tour finals which will be taking place at the Winter Dew Tour’s Toyota Championship, February 5-7 at Mount Snow Resort in Vermont. And the overall champions are going to get to compete against the pros in the Winter Dew Tour.

Sick right? Makes me wish I was young again… and I guess good at snowboarding for that matter. There is a $20 registration fee and that does not include lift tickets. And there are limited spots in each competition, so you need to move quickly to set yourself up.
