Bottle Opening Sunglasses

JackHawk 9000

Shut up and take my money. That’s what everyone is going to be saying to Patrick Eckstein, Matt DeCelles, Zach Luczynski, and Steven Dempsey – the men behind the JackHawk 9000 sunglasses. What are the JackHawk 9000′s you ask? It’s one of the world’s greatest combination inventions, like Smucker’s Goober Jelly/Peanut Butter, but much cooler. The JackHawk 9000 is a cross between a pair of sunglasses and a bottle opener.

What other items can you wear that open bottles?  A little over a decade Reef made the X-S-1 shoes and 686 made the Rocker belt, both have bottle opening capabilities.  Imagine opening 3 bottle at the same time with your sunglasses, belt and shoes.  Whoa.

The JackHawk 9000′s look like Ray Ban Wayfarers but have titanium (aerospace grade) arms/stems, vacuum welded hinges, and Iridium coated polarized lenses.  These shades have to be built tough, tough enough to open a summer’s worth of bottles.

The JackHawk 9000′s are not in production yet, but with your donations through Kickstarer.com you could help make a dream a reality for these four dudes.

If however the JackHawk 9000′s don’t get manufactured and you don’t have a bottle opener, watch the vid below for some inspiration.
