Spotted: Team Rider Kaitlyn Farrington "Uncapped"

House Boardshop team rider Kaitlyn Farrington may be currently laid up after getting her wisdom teeth pulled this week, but before she “went under the knife” she was hard at work with Vitamin Water filming for their new “Uncapped” campaign.

Spotted: Team Rider Kaitly Farrington with Chipmunk Cheeks

House Boardshop team rider Kaitlyn Farrington had her wisdom teeth yanked out today and we just want to wish her a speedy recovery, although those chipmunk cheeks are pretty darn cute.

On the upside Kaitlyn, you can drink as many milkshakes and smoothies as your heart desires!

Spotted: Team Rider Gabi Viteri in Another Peep Show Cameo

The all-female snowboard film crew Peep Show released another episode of their “PMS” webisode series and House Boardshop Team Rider Gabi Viteri has another cameo. This time the ladies are going to make you jones for some park laps. Is summer over yet?

P.S. look for one of the greatest scorpions of all time around the 1:20 mark.

Spotted: Team Rider Gabi Viteri in the Latest Peep Show Episode

House Boardshop Team Rider Gabi Viteri has been filming with the all girl production Peep Show for this falls release of “Winter Wars”. To hype up the project the Peep Show crew has been releasing a series of webisodes with clips from their travels. The latest one features some of Gabi’s riding and a whole lot of girly giggles.

Spotted: Team Rider Gus Engle Wins Prestigious Award

And the winner is… Gus Engle!

The House Boardshop’s very own Gus Engle was recently awarded a prestigious award from Method Magazine. Each year Method Mag hands out cleverly titled awards to standout snowboarders in the industry. Gus was awarded the “Jack Kerouac Award” for the 2010/2011 season.

While we’re not exactly clear what that means, we’re still proud of Gus. Congrats! Here’s what Method Mag had to say about the accolade:

The Jack Kerouac Award: Gus Engle for being our favorite footloose beatnik bum. To quote Kerouac, “The only people for me are the mad ones, the ones who are mad to live, mad to talk, mad to be saved, desirous of everything at the same time, the ones that never yawn or say a commonplace thing, but burn, burn, burn like fabulous yellow roman candles exploding like spiders across the stars and in the middle you see the blue center light pop and everybody goes “Awww!” That’s Gus.

Snowboarder Superpark Day Three: Fighting the Elements

Day three of Snowboarder Magazine’s Superpark here at Mt. Bachelor wasn’t as kind as day two, but riders got down nonetheless. Fighting bursts of wind throughout the day kept most of the riders off of the big jumps but didn’t stop them from getting nasty on the massive wall ride and nearby hip booter that was sheltered from mother nature’s wrath.

Snowboarder Superpark Day One: The Gang's All Here

Day one of Snowboarder Magazine’s Superpark 15 is a wrap and the momentum from today promises for an awesome week ahead of progression and super-shredding.

Mt. Bachelor has the honor of hosting the annual Superpark event this year and for a resort set deep in the backwoods of Oregon they have extended nothing but the royal red-carpet treatment for the 300+ riders, videographers, photographers and industry types invited this year. As is par-for-the-course at Superpark, day one is set aside for testing the waters. At first glance the action on the front-lines may seem a little lackluster for an event called Superpark, but the riders and park crews were busy gearing up for the week ahead. Riders warm up, slip and gauge the ginormous features while park crews make final adjustments to their , all in anticipation for the hammers that are about to be thrown down in the next 5 days. Even so, a massive session on Seven Spring’s park crew’s hip feature started to go off late in the afternoon as riders like Trevor Jacob and The House Boardshop’s own Brennen Swanson threw down and boosted off a daunting hip-gap feature. That… is a massive hip gap. House Boardshop Team Rider Brennen Swanson (left) and his Ride Snowboards teammate Todd Kirby (also a MN native!) has some tricks up his sleeve for Superpark this week. The annually anticipated Snowboarder Magazine Superpark 15 is kicking off on Monday and The House Boardshop crew got a special invite to come and watch all the action go down.

House Boardshop team rider Gabi Viteri was last seen chillen at the Snowboard Mag Am Throwdown in Copper with The House crew getting ready to ship out for a hectic end-of-season trip. In the last week she’s gone from the Colorado Rockies to the Palm Springs desert and is currently shooting with Burton at Northstar-at-Tahoe. It’s enough to make anyone’s head spin.
