The Fourth Phase | Travis Rice

The Forth Phase

The release of this teaser marks the 723rd day of production for Red Bull Media House and Brain Farm’s upcoming film “The Fourth Phase”.  Staying patient for two years will have it’s reward.    With never before ridden locations, shocking first descents, and a roster heavier than the Dream Team, The Forth Phase is pushing snowboarding into a new realm of crazy.

How does Travis Rice continue to reach beyond human limits?  That’s an extremely difficult question to answer.  One thing for sure is that his Lib Tech snowboard helps him to get where he’s going.  Throughout The Forth Phase you’ll see Travis ripping on a wide range of his T.Rice Pro Snowboards.  You may not be able to ride like Travis, but you can ride the board that Travis does…

Salt Lake City, UT – Feburary 2016 – Nitro Snowboards (Rider Owned), the 27 year old snowboard brand is thrilled to announce its newest addition to the family – Victor De Le Rue, one of the most progressive and up and coming riders in the world.
Victor is one of the special kinds of snowboarders, he rides everything from street rails, transitions, backcountry jumps, one-foots, to technical “ice axe demanding” AK lines. He is from France and has already made a huge impact on the international snowboard scene with video parts in Standard Films, ender part in Absinthe Films, and the ender part of Transworld Snowboards Origin. His passion for pushing his own boundaries and his passion for snowboarding in every type of terrain reflects his passion for having a Good Time on his snowboard, which is exactly the type of team riders Nitro Snowboards prouds itself for having.
“When I was 7 years old I got my first twin tip board, which was a Nitro, and I learned how to ride switch and had even more fun, now I can finally rock these sick Nitro boards again. I am just so happy to be a part of one of the coolest brands with the best products and team! I am so grateful for the direction of snowboarding they are pushing.” – Victor De Le Rue. Victor has big plans this year, spending the first half of the winter filming a full part for the new Transworld Snowboards #InsightMovie, and now he is off to AK for the next 2 months to film for another “BIG” project, maybe the biggest one of the year (wink, wink!). Nitro is excited to work closely with Victor to push their split boarding and all-mountain products even further in the future.
“We are so stoked to have such an up and coming versatile rider become part of our Nitro family. The first time I rode with Victor was almost 10 years ago and he blew my mind than. I am so amazed at how great of an ambassador for snowboarding Victor has become over the last few years. He is by far one of the best all-around snowboarders on the planet at the moment. We are honored to have this French Bad Ass on our team!” said Nitro´s International Marketing and Team Manager Knut Eliassen.

Henrik Harlaut wins Oslo X-Games

Armada skis’ Henrik Harlaut is no stranger to the podium for his vast array of uncanny tricks.  At the Oslo X-Games, Henrik had quite the banger, a Switch Triple Orbital 1440°!  Some say that it was a triple and others say it was a wobble, whatever it was it earned Henrick a nice chunk of Gold.

Jeremy Jones is now on Nitro Snowboards!

Nitro Snowboards is proud to introduce Jeremy Jones to the team!

Salt Lake City, UT – Feburary 2016 – Nitro Snowboards (Rider Owned), the 27 year old snowboard brand is thrilled to announce its newest addition to the family – Jeremy Jones, one of the most influential snowboarders of the last two decades.
Beyond continuing to film new video parts, acting as a brand ambassador, and slaying anything in his way Jeremy will be inspirational and instrumental in bringing new and improved products to the Nitro Snowboards line. “Jeremy is hands down one of the most influential and progressive snowboarders of our time and continues to push boundaries year after year, because he absolutely loves everything about snowboarding and having a good time. This is the exact reason we wanted to partner up with Jeremy to help us continue our goal of spreading the passion that snowboarding is to us at Nitro.” said Knut Eliassen, Nitro Team and Marketing Manager.
Jeremy is a perfect fit to the Nitro slogan “Built For Good Times”, and is an amazing ambassador of snowboardings heritage and future of innovation at Nitro. He is one of the originals, style innovator, trick master, film part legend (from Simple Pleasures, Decade, Resistance, Shakedown, and the list goes on), and one of the few snowboarders who have set the standard of snowboarding several times throughout his career. He has a place in history as the king of all around snowboarding, from the streets to the backcountry. We look forward to what he has next for snowboarding and Nitro.
“Nitro has been a part of SLC for as long as I can remember, that history alone is something rad to me.  The team is stacked from the Powder Hounds to the Street Monkeys.  Its lit and I’m hyped to get hyped by all these fools.” – Jeremy Jones. Nitro snowboards has had its roots in Salt Lake City for years because of the amazing mountains just 30 minutes away. This year Nitro Snowboards is making another Team movie, the third one since Hyped! and The Bad Seeds, be sure to look out for some Jeremy shenanigans. “As we all know the industry keeps evolving and changing, but having guys like Jeremy staying in the industry and going out snowboarding everyday will keep Nitro and snowboarding headed in the right path. We are proud and honored to have Jeremy Jones on Nitro.”
