Just because you can doesn’t necessarily mean you should.  Some riders like to “keep it real” and other’s push progression.  Where do you think snowboarding should go?

Burton Party In Your Park Regional Finals

The winners of all of this year’s Burton Party in Your Park stops converged on Brighton Resort, UT and Seven Springs, PA to gun it out for the PIYP Finals. What followed can only be described as a modern-day jibfest. From Brighton’s creative rail features to Seven Spring’s massive street setup, the riders laid down an insane showing of rail wizardry, and in the end the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners walked away with cash in hand.

Seven Springs, PA
1st Kyle Kennedy
2nd Julien Passajou
3rd Levi Gunzburg

Brighton, UT
1st Tristin Heiner
2nd Zach Soderholm
3rd Brady Durin

Nine Knights | Sven Thorgren

Suzuki Nine Knights is no joke. The setup is immaculate, creative and gigantic, and when you unleash some of the world’s best jumpers on it you receive a showcase seen in few other places in the world. This year Sven Thorgren took the top spot among riders like Halldór Helgason, Sage Kotsenburg, and Kevin Backström. Judging by the footage above, he earned every bit of it. By the way, we’re pretty sure Peetu Piiroinen’s hip air is among the highest of all time. Borderline insanity.

Nine Knights | Big Air Ski & Snowboard

Every year, the Suzuki Nine Knights week long super session wraps up with an a action packed Big Air contest day. It is no usual competition, as it is judged by the pros themselves, in a jam session format. The Mottolino Fun Mountain in Livingo saw the snowboarders join the event for the first time, making for an ever bigger show for the crowds.
