Here’s a little taste of Brian Skorupski’s (aka Dr. B) season in the Yawgoon Valley and in Rhode Island & New England’s streets. Dr. B’s riding is fluid and this edit goes to show that a few clips with enough style is all that really matters.

Crossing the threshold between freesking and nordic skiing is a handful of Norwigian winter sport enthusiasts. With what looks to be one of the best Freestyle Cross Country Skiing edits around these lads do more than tricks at Tryvann’s Vinterpark in Oslo, Norway; they break down barriers on what’s possible on nordic skis. When will the first nordic ski race be finished on alpine skis?

1989 brought a revolution: “(All quiet on) the Western Front” was the first movie by Fall Line Films Productions, and Noah Salasnek, Dave Seoane, and Chris Roach with their day-glo gear and rad, skateboard-inspired moves started a new freestyle movement. This VHS featured everything that makes snowboarding movies so great: innovative tricks, heavy beats, and it made you want to go shred! This video changed some lives, just like the following Fall Line flicks did, “Snowboarders in Exile” (1990) or “Riders on the storm” (1992).

When winter hits most people put their down hill bikes away and pull out their fat bikes. Luda May had other ideas for his bike and grabbed Nico Faluet to shoot in Verbier, Switzerland. Although it looks cold, it also looks pretty cool. Jump to 0:50 to see the action.
Getting the Yawgoons out of the valley might be easier than expected. Teaming up with Capita‘s Scotty Stevens and Johnny O’Connor at Copper Mountain for some warm spring laps is always a good idea. Take a peek, get inspired, and wait until next season to try it.
