This compilation of clips is a thread of awesomeness that is truly inspiring. Set to dubstep, house, trance, techno, pop music; the high paced bass driven tunes reverberate in the ear as the action reverberates in the heart. What is most poetic and the common theme among the shots of athletic feats is the “stoke.” Each athlete, mouth agape, smile touching behind the ears, laughing, is the picture of happiness. The most exciting action caught in this compilation is the collective joy we get out of pursuing our passions. Have fun, push it, do what you love, lean in: BE AWESOME!

Getting old can suck at times; working 9-5, bills, and the factors of reality can really weigh you down. That’s why you must keep skating. Don’t be that guy that “Used to skate”.
From Sunset Skateboards out of California comes the Flare LED Skateboard Wheels with Light Emitting Diodes or LED’s inside the urethane wheels. While not a completely new concept to the market, which is clearly represented in the promo video with the terrible 80′s montage music and filming style and at $39.95 they are not that bad of a deal.

They are still kind of cool and I am sure there are going to be some cool applications for them such as long exposure photography, safety while bombing hills at night or while out for a late night cruise with your gang. But if you are more like me and want just some good Ol’ fashion skate wheels and a new deck then in the words of Ron Burgundy- “Stay classy San Diego”.
Well another summer season has come and gone at the Windells Skate and Snow Camp. It’s amazing the level of progression, creativity and the insane riding that comes out of there every summer. Every time there is a new edit from Windell’s your jaw is on the floor almost the entire video and the final session is no exception. Session seven features iPath’s Team Takeover Narly by Nature skate competition as well as the premiere of Transworld Snowboarding’s new movie “NATION”. There is also a great riding tip throwback from Coach Reed back in 2008 on some, shall we say “time management techniques” while shredding. So sit back and prepare to have your mind blown.
