Mother nature has not cooperated very well this year and we had the latest start to our season we’ve had in years. Basically the entire month of December was our preseason. Warm temps hurt snowfalls but gave us slushy spring conditions to start the season. It didn’t take long for people to get their legs back and start throwing down. I don’t know what’s in the water in Dresser, Wisconsin but Trollhaugen really is home to some of the most progressive rail riding anywhere. Enjoy the first monday minute of the season!

After winning Video of The Year in 2013, Frank April
and the Déjà Vu crew battened down the hatches and embarked on a two year video project entitled Encore, which they released to the masses earlier this fall. Encore has been acclaimed as the one of, if not the most progressive street riding videos of the past decade and Arbor Snowboards
team rider Frank April has one of the most hammer sections of the video.
Enjoy this abbreviated re-edit of Frank’s street footage from Encore, and click the link below to download the full video on iTunes. Encore is also available in local snowboard shops worldwide.

Mark Carter is a cowboy-snowboarder half-breed, a man’s man. Carter approaches snowboarding with the same reckless but calculated gusto that is necessary when wrangling a herd of hundreds of cattle – a task that he’s burdened with on his family’s Wyoming ranch every fall before snowboard season kicks into gear.
This past season, Mark spent the winter going balls to the wall
in the Jackson Hole backcountry, filming with Teton Gravity Research, Sherpas Cinema, and Arbor Snowboards
. This full part is the culmination of countless days hucking off huge jumps and enormous, sketchy lines. Now kick your boots up and enjoy the fruit of Mark’s labor.

Want to know tomorrow’s tricks today? All the tea leaves, tinctures, Magic 8 Balls, palm lines or even Jesus’ face in condensation on the back of a stop sign are nothing compared to Think Thank Almanac’s “Methods of Prediction”! Think Thank’s impatient prescient magic elixir of mini shredding mayhem (gone mega). This season spirits (and Mitch) remained high through low snow, low gas, broke down vans and broke down bodies. The Think Thank crew dove in to the cone of the snowboard video vortex with our usual reckless abandon. Time, temperature and plans are irrelevant. See a spot, hit it. Think of a trick, try it. Full hack? We’re going to Applebees! So grab a shovel, flip the Tarot cards, steep the tea, consult the star charts and chart the star’s homes because the end is only the beginning when the Think Thank Snowboarding Almanac uses it’s “Methods of Prediction”!
