Skateboard Fail
It doesn’t matter how good or bad you are at skateboarding you will fail, if you haven’t already, at some point. Luckily enough for us this skateboard fail can been seen by everyone.
Ever wonder how they decide who gets to drop first in a competition of this magnitude? Didn’t think so. After watching the above video I can only hope to see more competitions adopts this type of seeding procedures. I mean, who wouldn’t love to participate in some good old fashion lumberjack games.

It’s that time of year again, it’s time for the annual Burton US Open. After residing at Stratton Mountain for what seams like forever, the Burton US Open, which is part of the Burton Global Open Series, has moved to Vail for 2013.

A 17-year-old Albuquerque teen who fell about 45 feet from a ski-lift chair onto steep, snowy terrain at Ski Santa Fe a few weeks ago is reportedly OK.
“Basically, the kid is home and he is fine,” said Cody Sheppard, the ski patrol director at Ski Santa Fe. “It was kind of a dramatic deal. I guess he was attempting to throw a snowball to the chair in front of him, where some friends were, and when he threw the snowball, the momentum just carried him out of the chair. ” [Santa Fe New Mexican]
What Nordica‘s Sverre Liliequist did at the Swatch Skiers Cup doesn’t happen everyday. Hell, it’s probably has never happened ever before and will never happen again. If Sverre would have been eaten up by the slide at least he would have gone out in style.
The Harlem Shake
Yeah, we decided to make a Harlem Shake video. It was a good day at the shop.

Above looking at all the new product at SIA is the 686 Light Out event. This mano-a-mano boxing match puts industry dude vs industry dude. Lights Out is beyond entertaining, of course the beer helps, and there is a reason everyone in the ring has a profession in the snow sports industry. We can’t wait to see who 686 puts in the ring next year!
