Think Thank’s “Methods of Prediction”

[vimeo 139524866 w=730]

Want to know tomorrow’s tricks today? All the tea leaves, tinctures, Magic 8 Balls, palm lines or even Jesus’ face in condensation on the back of a stop sign are nothing compared to Think Thank Almanac’s “Methods of Prediction”! Think Thank’s impatient prescient magic elixir of mini shredding mayhem (gone mega). This season spirits (and Mitch) remained high through low snow, low gas, broke down vans and broke down bodies. The Think Thank crew dove in to the cone of the snowboard video vortex with our usual reckless abandon. Time, temperature and plans are irrelevant. See a spot, hit it. Think of a trick, try it. Full hack? We’re going to Applebees! So grab a shovel, flip the Tarot cards, steep the tea, consult the star charts and chart the star’s homes because the end is only the beginning when the Think Thank Snowboarding Almanac uses it’s “Methods of Prediction”!

Riley Nickerson goes hard when he hits the streets.  He also does it with a style that has creeped into the forefront of legendary riding.  Traveling across Europe and the greatest country in the world Riley’s 686 Seconds part is a full blown banger.  Tech, style, and grace are the three things that’ll make you watch the Riley Nickerson 686 Seconds part over and over.

I first met Ethan Morgan in 2004 as his coach at Windells Camp and then we crossed paths again in 2006 at the Trofeo Topolino Jr. World Games contest in Italy.  Ethan has really blown up over the last few years.  Need proof?  Check out the edit above.

Ben Ferguson Full Part – Burton Presents 2016

[youtube=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PL7H2mnJiG8&feature=youtu.be&w=730]

Ben Ferguson is becoming one of the most well rounded snowboarders on the planet.  This Burton Presents feature highlights Ben raw talent across a wide range of terrain. With mentors like Danny Davis and Terje Haakosen it’s no wonder how Ben’s transitioned from transition into steeps and deeps so well.

I have a strong feeling Burton will be holding on to this kid for a while.

Red Bull Rampage | Best Bike Crashes

[youtube=https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=1&v=kIefOC8fCIs&w=730]

Let’s face it, we all love watching the world’s best mtb riders send it at Red Bull Rampage. Backflips over canyons, massive drops, and sketchy lines at insanely high speeds make for quite the show, especially while done on Mountain Bikes.

But, crashes are inevitable, and the consequences in Virgin, Utah are unforgivable to say the least; falling off cliffs, into canyons and casing 25m jumps…you know, the usual dangers of riding your bike on, and off, a totally raw mountain.

In anticipation of the 10th edition of Rampage, let’s take a look at this compilation of the gnarliest crashes over the years.
